From one payday to the next.
Your financial month does not have to start on the first. Choose a start date that fits your life.
What is really available to spend? Plan your personal financial cycle with your own entries, without a bank connection.
The free JESM update to version 1.3 is being prepared for the App Store. After Apple approves it, all features will be available without a subscription or trial limit. Until then, the App Store may still offer version 1.2.
Your financial month does not have to start on the first. Choose a start date that fits your life.
Income, recurring expenses, budgets and reserves help you distinguish planned amounts from available money.
Plan known one-off payments ahead. Widgets complement the overview, while CSV import and export keep your entries accessible.
CanISpend.io does not connect to a bank or require a user account. Financial data is stored locally on your device. You manage any files you export.
The app contains no advertising or tracking. The amounts shown depend on your entries; the app does not move money or replace financial advice.
There is money in your account, but some of it is already intended for rent, groceries or the next annual bill. CanISpend.io makes that planning visible: what is already allocated, and what remains available in your current cycle?
You plan known amounts in advance. For everyday purchases, you set aside a shared budget rather than recording every receipt individually. This gives you an overview you can keep up to date with manageable effort.
Choose when your personal monthly cycle begins. Enter recurring income and fixed expenses with their amounts and dates. Your plan follows your daily life.
Set aside an amount for groceries, leisure or a savings goal, for example. Known irregular expenses and one-off payments complete your plan. Automatic reserves take upcoming costs into account.
The overview shows the available remainder, how your money is allocated and expenses still outstanding. Adjust entries when things change. Widgets bring key figures to your Home Screen.
In this simplified example, €2,400 of planned income is reduced by €1,100 in fixed costs, €450 for everyday spending & savings, and €200 in reserves. That leaves €650 for the cycle.
The €650 is a planning figure based on these entries. Further known payments or changed amounts will affect it. Future income is shown separately in the app so you can distinguish it from income already available.
Fictional example for illustration. No personal financial data and no forecast of your actual account balance.
CanISpend.io does not read a bank account. You decide which income, expenses and reserves belong in your plan. The overview is as current as your entries.
For iPhone and iPad, with widgets and CSV import and export. Import replaces existing app data, so export important entries as a backup first.
Available in German, English (US, UK and Canada), French, Spanish, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. You can adjust language, currency and appearance in the app.
